Considerations Before Purchasing
Before visiting our store, it's well worth familiarising yourself with the 4Cs. These are 4Cs are Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat Weight. They're the global standard for grading diamonds. Cut controls sparkle by determining how light moves through the stone. Colour measures how white it appears, ranging from colourless to yellow. Clarity tracks internal marks. Carat Weight is simply how much it weighs. Together, these four factors determine your diamond's price and appearance.
Metal bands come in platinum, white gold, yellow gold and rose gold. Each metal has a distinct look and durability level. Your choice affects maintenance requirements, comfort and how well it matches your diamond.
Setting type refers to how your diamond is held in place on the ring and the most common styles include prong, bezel, pavé, channel and halo. Each setting affects the security, style and how much of the diamond you can see. Your choice changes the ring's overall look and how practical it is for daily wear.
Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?
Lab grown diamonds are real diamonds with the same chemical structure, hardness and brilliance as natural ones. The only difference is their origin: natural diamonds grow underground over billions of years, whilst lab grown diamonds are created in a controlled environment within weeks. Both are genuine diamonds.
