Jewellers emerged in Leeds around the mid-19th century, predominantly led by family-run businesses. However, the city-centre saw a resurgence in jewellers in the late 20th century, specialising in bespoke pieces, which we now see on our highstreets.

Diamond Certification Options:
A diamond certificate is an independent grading report from a gemological laboratory that documents your diamond's exact characteristics. It's important because it verifies the quality and specifications you're paying for are genuine. The certificate protects you from fraud or misinformation about your diamond's value.
Certificates come from independent labs like GIA or IGI that have no stake in your purchase. This independence ensures honest, objective grading without bias towards sellers or buyers.
Your certificate details the 4Cs: The 4Cs are Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat Weight. They're the standard system jewellers use worldwide to grade diamond quality and determine price. Cut affects how brilliantly the diamond sparkles. Colour rates how white or tinted it appears. Clarity measures tiny natural marks inside. Carat Weight tells you how heavy and large it is.

What Happens After Purchase?
After your item arrives, you have access to our post-purchase services. We offer free cleaning to keep your jewellery looking as brilliant as the day it arrived. If your ring feels too tight or loose, our resizing service can adjust the fit. We also provide an upgrade service if you want to enhance your ring.
Returns and Warranty Policy
Our returns and warranty policy ensures you're protected after purchase. You have 30 days from delivery to return your item for a full refund if you're not satisfied. Every purchase includes a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects and craftsmanship issues.
Considerations Before Purchasing:
Lab grown or natural diamonds? Lab grown diamonds are real diamonds with identical chemical composition, hardness and appearance to natural ones. The only difference is where they formed. Natural diamonds grew underground billions of years ago, while lab grown diamonds are created in controlled facilities. Both are genuine diamonds. You'll get more for your money with lab grown but people tend to go for natural diamonds as they're more traditional, have millions of years of history and hold sentimental value.
Metal bands come in platinum, white gold, yellow gold and rose gold. Each offers different durability, colour and maintenance needs. Platinum is the densest and strongest option.
Delivery times depend on whether you're ordering ready-made or bespoke pieces. Ready-made items arrive within 3-5 working days. Bespoke pieces take 2-3 weeks depending on complexity. Simple solitaire rings need about 2 weeks, whilst multi-stone designs require longer.
