Der Start von Diamond Heaven

Diamond Heaven wurde am 26. November 2004 mit dem Ziel gegründet, Diamantschmuck über das Internet einem breiteren Publikum zugänglich zu machen. Wir entschieden uns für einen Standort im Birminghamer Schmuckviertel, wodurch wir mit einigen der talentiertesten Schmuckhandwerker des Landes zusammenarbeiten konnten.

Unsere erste Website ging kurze Zeit später online und bot den Kunden die Möglichkeit, exquisite Diamantschmuckstücke bequem von zu Hause aus zu kaufen.

In unseren Anfangsjahren war es uns besonders wichtig, dass sich unsere Kunden beim Kauf ihrer Produkte rundum wohlfühlten. Deshalb eröffneten wir unseren ersten Online-Besichtigungsraum. Dort konnten unsere Kunden die gewünschten Artikel auswählen und online ansehen; wir stellten sie dann zum gewünschten Termin bereit.

Aufgrund der gestiegenen Nachfrage haben wir unser Team um fachkundig ausgebildete Schmuckberater erweitert, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Fragen potenzieller Kunden beantwortet werden.

Diese Kombination aus Online-Shopping und realer Besichtigung eröffnete unseren Kunden völlig neue Möglichkeiten, bei uns einzukaufen, und legte den Grundstein für unsere Zukunft.

Diamond Heaven launched back in 2004 with one simple mission; to provide luxury high end jewellery at affordable prices to the public via the internet. Purchasing diamond jewellery online was almost unknown in the early 2000’s, so we saw an opening in the market and pushed forward with a website launch at the end of 2004. Based in the historic Birmingham Jewellery Quarter, we were able to work with some of the most skilled jewellery craftsmen in the country and produce exquisite diamond jewellery for the fraction of the price of the high street jewellers. Our customers were now able to shop for diamond jewellery in their own time, in the comfort of their own home.

Diamond Heaven then found customers wanted to visit our location, as well as be able to collect their diamond jewellery purchase in person. Due to this increase in demand, we expanded our team to include expertly trained jewellery consultants and opened our first viewing suite by 2005.

This mix of online shopping and in-house viewing was the foundations towards how the future of Diamond Heaven would soon become.

Unser erster Schritt bestand darin, interaktive Videos unserer Diamantverlobungsringe einzuführen. So konnten Kunden die Ringe aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln betrachten und sich ein besseres Bild davon machen, wie sie in natura aussehen würden. Im zweiten Schritt erstellten wir weitere Fotos unserer Designs aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven. Dadurch konnten sich unsere Kunden von zu Hause aus ein umfassenderes Bild von jedem einzelnen Design machen und entscheiden, welcher Diamantverlobungsring oder Ehering ihnen am besten gefiel. Diese Maßnahme stieß bei unseren Kunden auf überwältigende Resonanz und gab ihnen die Möglichkeit, alle Aspekte ihres Diamantschmucks zu prüfen, bevor sie die wichtige Kaufentscheidung trafen.

During this time, Diamond Heaven began to go through substantial changes, both internally and externally. With the change in customer requirements for the diamond rings, we began to stock more independently certified diamonds. We also began adding new designs to our diamond jewellery range on a weekly basis, giving our customers more options on ring styles.

After extensive market research, we embarked on redeveloping our website. In early 2010, we were excited to release our new website. The result was a sleek, easy to use and modern website. Our new website proved to be a tremendous success, which in turn lead perfectly to our next big change, which revolutionised Diamond Heaven as a retailer.

In late 2010, the opportunity arose for us to secure our Diamond Heaven flagship showroom. Within two months we went from a building empty for five years, desperately in need of repair, to a beautifully fitted modern jewellery store. Whilst we were extremely pleased with our new store, our customers would ultimately have the final say.

In December 2010 we opened our flagship store to the public. Our gamble worked, and the opening proved to be a huge success. Customers could view our extensive jewellery range in person, with our jewellery experts on hand to answer any questions they may have.

Wir wollten unseren Kunden beim Besuch unseres Geschäfts ein besonderes Einkaufserlebnis bieten, etwas, das kein anderer Juwelier im Angebot hatte. Deshalb präsentierten wir alle unsere zertifizierten Diamanten lose und verschiedene Ringfassungen ohne den zentralen Diamanten. So konnten unsere Kunden einen Diamanten in unterschiedlichen Fassungen betrachten, bevor sie sich entschieden. Diese Methode erwies sich als voller Erfolg und sorgte für Abwechslung und Spaß beim Diamantenkauf. Gleichzeitig half sie unseren Kunden, Diamanten besser zu verstehen, bevor sie sich für einen Kauf entschieden.

Diamonds, diamonds, diamonds!

Nach dem erfolgreichen Start unseres Diamond Heaven Flagship-Stores konzentrierten wir uns verstärkt auf Investitionen in die Verbesserung und Weiterentwicklung unseres Schmucksortiments und Diamantenbestands. Wir investierten in GIA/IGI/AGI-zertifizierte Diamanten und erweiterten unser Angebot um Diamanten mit besonderen Schliffen, was sich ebenfalls als großer Erfolg erwies.

Wir haben uns in den Bereich der farbigen Diamanten gewagt und eine eigene Kollektion gelber Diamanten auf der Website von Diamond Heaven sowie in unseren Filialen zur Ansicht angeboten. Selbstverständlich sind alle Diamanten zertifiziert, um unseren Kunden absolute Sicherheit zu bieten.

With regular market research, we also improved our exquisite halo and bridal set engagement rings extensively, in keeping with the current trends.

Lights, camera, action

Continuing our commitment to educating our customers, at the beginning of 2014 we created a series of videos on diamond education to help along the way. Our education videos had over 120,000 views on our YouTube page, proving we were moving in the right direction with our diamond education.

Hatton Garden; Our Second Showroom

With an ever-increasing customer base, another showroom opening would be the next inevitable step for Diamond Heaven. As we were already based in one of the country's leading jewellery quarters, it was an easy choice for us to locate ourselves in the prestigious Hatton Garden . Our showroom opened here in 2014, giving our customers down south an opportunity to come view our diamond jewellery range who as of yet not had the chance to. Our Hatton Garden showroom is appointment based, with ranges of loose diamonds, mounts and diamond jewellery all available to view.

Anfang 2015 haben wir unsere Eternity Ring Kollektion detailliert unter die Lupe genommen und festgestellt, dass wir nicht nur unser Produktsortiment, sondern auch die Qualität verbessern können.

Traditionell werden die meisten Diamantringe gegossen; dazu wird eine Form des Designs angefertigt und anschließend das flüssige Metall hineingespritzt. Wir haben uns mit einer Methode zur Herstellung von Ewigkeitsringen aus einem massiven Metallrohr Ihrer Wahl beschäftigt. Dieses Verfahren gewährleistet nicht nur eine noch stabilere Konstruktion als gegossene Ringe und eine größere Designvielfalt, sondern ermöglicht auch das saubere und gleichmäßige Fassen von Diamanten in komplexeren Formen.

Nach dem Erfolg unserer gelben Diamanten in besonderen Schliffen haben wir unsere gelben Diamanten in ausgefallenen Formen vorgestellt. Wir haben festgestellt, dass ovale und kissenförmige gelbe Diamanten die perfekte Wahl für einen Verlobungsring mit einzigartigem Look sind.

Edelsteine

As our names gives away, we are a diamond specialist. However, there are stunning and breath-taking gemstones available in the world. A gemstone can be a fantastic compliment in an engagement ring or enhance any diamond jewellery. In 2016 we decided that we should expand into Gemstones, and now are proud to carry Blue Sapphires, Pink Sapphires, Green Emeralds and Red Rubies, just to name a few. Third Location: Manchester

London 2.0

When we first took our Hatton Garden suite in 2014, we were unsure of the demand, therefore took a smaller suite to start with. It became clear very soon that our demand in London was higher than expected and we grew out of this office very quickly. After an extensive search, we found our new office in 2017, which is where you will find our London Sales Team today. With quadruple the space, we were able to offer more private appointments and give our customers the impeccable Diamond Heaven customer service we are known for.

The Fourth Store: Glasgow

With our Manchester store having a strong customer base, we decided that we would look North of the board into Scotland for our fourth Diamond Heaven shop. We were gaining a big customer following from Scotland, and after some initial market research, it became clear that Glasgow would be the perfect city for us.

We decided to base our Scottish store in Princes Square, a beautiful, listed building in Glasgow city centre. The Princes Square had recently undertaken a £7.5, development and housed many luxury beauty and fashion brands. We knew that this would be the best location for our store.

In April 2017, we finally unveiled our new Diamond Heaven store and opened the doors to our customers. The layout of the store allows customers to openly browse the jewellery displays or sit down for an in-depth consultation depending on their requirements.

The Fifth Store: Cardiff

With the success of our Scottish Store, it only made sense in early 2019 to open another store within the United Kingdom. This time, Wales took our interest. Our customer base has always been strong in Wales, so it was only natural to make ourselves more accessible.

When looking for a central and suitable location, St David’s Dewi Saint in Cardiff immediately stood out to us. Located closely to Cardiff station, and with a fantastic range of shops and restaurants, it was only right to make Cardiff our fifth store location.

Diamond Heaven in Cardiff opened in April 2019, offering our extensive range of Engagement Rings, Wedding Rings, Eternity Rings and Diamond Jewellery.

The Pandemic Affect

When the lockdown first hit in March 2020, it resulted in everyone having to stay home, not knowing how long this would continue. With all our stores shut, we knew we had to get more creative to be able to help our customers with their jewellery purchases and aftercare during lockdown. We launched our very own ring builder site, with live chat allowing customers to view hundreds of diamonds individually with high quality images and videos and customise their dream ring from the comfort of their own living room. We offered video appointments with our sales executives, allowing customers to still have a consultation experience and answer any questions they may have to find the perfect item they required and assisted with urgent wedding ring requests for customers still planning their big day.

When we were allowed to re-open our stores again (albeit briefly), all safety precautions were taken to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. Social distancing, face masks and hand gel were used to help protect everyone from Coronavirus and we started to look towards a new way of sales through multiple selling platforms as an award winning omnichannel Jewellers.

We then introduced Lab Grown Diamonds online and instore as a new more sustainable option that had just reached the market and we were one of the first jewellers to offer this new option to our customers in the summer of 2021. This proved to be a huge success and we have expanded these options to majority of our ring designs now to cater to our customers every requirement when customising their forever rings with us.

The Sixth Store: Leeds

After re-opening our stores from the Pandemic we decided to shake off the cobwebs and expand to a new location up north for our Sixth Store.

In April 2021 we opened our brand store in Leeds City Centre. Nestled within the heart of the historic Victoria Quarter, well known for its luxury retail and jewellery heritage. We are offering our diamond expertise to help find the perfect piece of diamond jewellery for yourself and your loved one.

Our Leeds store is home to a wide range of Certified Diamonds, unique ring mounts, diamond engagement rings, wedding bands, eternity rings and diamond jewellery. The Flagship makeover

After 12 years, we decided that our flagship store based in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter required a much-needed refresh. At the beginning of 2022 we managed to purchase and renovated the vacant unit next door and bring it back to life. We doubled the size of our shopfloor giving our customers a larger, more luxurious showroom to enjoy browsing our wide range of diamond and gemstone jewellery.

Taking inspiration from the jewellery stores of London, our flagship store is designed with great elegance. The introduction of our rich mahogany counters finished with gold edging and fixtures made our new Engagement Ring Island the proud centrepiece to our new shopfloor complemented by the herringbone parquet flooring throughout. We added an essence of calm with our frosted glass partitions in our discreet consultation areas which allow you to relax, take your time, go over payment methods, 0% finance options and make the right decision for you when purchasing an Engagement ring you’ll love forever.

Our Birmingham flagship store opened its new doors at the end of September and is now one of the largest showrooms in the historic Jewellery Quarter.

NEW WEBSITE

After the stunning refurbishment of our Flagship store, we decided we needed a complete refresh of our website to match it. We unveiled our new website in 2023 with a fresh, minimal layout, new logo and high quality 360-degree renders of our stunning engagement rings. Customers can now see every possible angle of their chosen ring design, helping them purchase with confidence from home.

We created the Diamond Consultation experience for our online customers through three different consultation options to help build the perfect engagement ring with our customers requirements by the click of a button.

LIVERPOOL STORE OPENING

After great success from our Leeds store and a proven fantastic customer base in the north of the U.K. We decided this is where we need to open our Seventh U.K based store and we cast our eyes over to Liverpool. We chose to open our stunning new store in July 2023 on the lively bustling Lord Street and we were greeted by many new and returning customers so pleased to have a local Diamond Heaven in their city.

Our Liverpool store stocks a wide range of Certified Diamonds, unique ring mounts, diamond engagement rings, various wedding bands and stunning diamond jewellery.

BELFAST STORE OPENING:

We have seen a demand for our services and a big increase in customer enquiries in Northern Ireland. Which has brought us to realise we needed a store based right in the city centre where all of our services are available to our current customers. We are proud to have opened our eighth U.K based store on Ann Street right by Victoria Square.

Our Belfast store stocks a wide range of unique ring and jewellery designs, including our best-selling engagement ring styles and various wedding bands and stunning diamond jewellery.

NEW FEATURES ON OUR WEBSITE

We have seen a huge demand for coloured gemstone engagement rings for 2024. We released our range of bright-coloured gemstones and coloured lab grown diamonds on our website and in stores. The new range is available on our website ring builder Create Your Own Engagement Ring.

We want our customers to have plenty of options when creating their dream ring with a user-friendly layout which allows them to shop from phone, tablet or desktop and create the perfect engagement ring from home or on the move and we thought why stop there?

We expanded on this concept by launching Create Your Own Eternity Ring and Create Your Own Wedding Rings in-store and online. Our simple step-by-step process allows our customers to choose the exact ring width and diamond coverage on their ring, which helps to create a matching set with their engagement ring ensuring they fit together perfectly.

Herrenschmuck

We launched our Men’s jewellery range after noticing a huge demand for more options for men’s wear on the market. We are excited to extend our range of Men’s wear including Men’s cufflinks, signet rings, gemstone rings, black rhodium rings, bracelets, stud earrings, engagement rings, and wedding rings in our new men’s wear section for 2024.

We released our range of Toi Et Moi engagement rings. The range includes an exciting selection of fancy-shaped diamonds and gemstones. The two gemstones sitting together on one band will tell your love story of two souls coming together in one beautiful ring design.
